Do you find these to be comparable to Brembos? I had those on my Mustang and loved them. Am still driving the Lariat like a Mustang and would really like that quick stop back that I had.

I cannot attest to brembos, as I have never had them on any of my vehicles, BUT these do stop on a dime, considering my steel bumpers that weigh a ton.Do you find these to be comparable to Brembos? Thanks!Looks great.....well done
Honestly, I do not know. I did not do anything special to my wheel wells. I am sorry!Hey Dan, kind of a random question but what did you use to fill your wheel well? I have gaps in the liner where it looks like you don't. For example, top left of the rear the crash bar I have a gap and it doesn't look like you do
Dang maybe I just got screwed lol. By the way, growing up in SoCal I wish I was still there so I could pick up all the big parts I plan on ordering... including some some fenders and bed sides. Would be so much easierHonestly, I do not know. I did not do anything special to my wheel wells. I am sorry!
Wanted to get more insights on these installation hiccups. I run 18" wheels with either a 20 or 25mm offset (I forget). But I definitely want what you are describing in terms of performance, whether Pedder's or another brand.Just a FYI regarding the Pedders Ranger BBK installation.
A. 18" wheels are required... the factory spare (16" I think) and factory 17" will not work.
B. The SS brake lines provided is OK, but have issues.
They attach facing straight up...

Which, with OEM 18" wheels (with 55mm offset) has the line pointing almost directly at the rim. And in my case, actually was rubbing on the rim. With my summer tire/wheel setup with 20mm offset, there was no issue. The line at the caliper end needs a 25° bend in it.

Next, the bracket is not positioned well to NOT bind the line with near 90° bends, and the line can't slip through the guide. Had to bend the bracket to prevent this.

Finally, because of the bad angle on the bracket (point more outward toward the tire) the line can, and did in my case, form a "loop" out over the tire and rubbing on the tread. This really showed up after the winter tires were mounted and the line made a heck of a noise as it got caught in the big gaps in the lug pattern. Serious o9ff-road tire would be a disaster.
Now no rubbing, all's good. Other than this brake line issue, VERY happy with the setup.
Install was quite straight forward. Funny, the only fiddley bit was getting the new SS brake lines threads to start on the hard line... have to be VERY lined up and then all is good. Key item (which I did not have) is to put a slight vacuum on the master cylinder so when you disconnect the brake line (one side at a time) your not fighting the slippery brake fluid constantly drip on you hands and all over the driveway.Wanted to get more insights on these installation hiccups. So the steel lines did fit? I thought you mentioned they didn't. ThxInstall was quite straight forward. The calipers and rotor bolt right up; pads drop right in. Bleed and go.
LOL... kinda forgot some of the issues... had to read what I wrote above to remind myself...So the steel lines did fit? I thought you mentioned they didn't. Thx
I must have missed reading this prior, but you state that 18" wheels are necessary?Just a FYI regarding the Pedders Ranger BBK installation.

Pedders does not specify wheel details other then OEM 18"s will work, but not 17s. They don't say "17s will work IF back space of xx.x". As the disc is quite a bit larger that the OEM, thus pushing the caliper outward toward the rim, I'm guessing it would hit the rim, not the spokes, on 17.I must have missed reading this prior, but you state that 18" wheels are necessary?
I went from OEM 18's to aftermarket 17's, but improved the poke, going from OEM (55) to 18mm with my KMC's. If 18" wheels are required, looks like I'm out.
ok thanks....Sounds like it's an unknown at this time.Pedders does not specify wheel details other then OEM 18"s will work, but not 17s. They don't say "17s will work IF back space of xx.x".
