Technically only the part over 150# of me, so if I were reduced to just bones, I'd not count towards to total!
Why do you say this??

Just simply question. Does the max. Payload number include the weight of a full tank of gas? I know the weight of any modifications from stock will need to be included as payload. But what about a tank of gas, 19 gallons weighs close to 140 pounds.

I thought I seen something about thiat in the owners manual, but can't remember.

Or it was in my moto manual. I know motorcycle specs are shady like that. They list dry weight, so not sure they account for any fluids or gas in cargo calculations.

2021 XLT with black appearance package. So running boards, bigger tires etc.

What i find interesting is my tire psi is 30 on 18"inch rims and 17" rims it is 35

But 1450#- 750 tongue weight is 700 pounds. Enough for me two kids and wife and a few light weight toys for kids plus leaving plenty for a camper

Not at the truck for a picture, but it’s 1823lbs. Cost $27,214. 2021 XLT 2wd, supercab. I put pencil to paper and determined I needed 1800lbs payload, and 7000lbs towing. Then I scoured the market to find out my cheapest option. Then I looked at the XL and XLT base package and determined the base XLT was best for my needs with only a few options.

Just remember if you load your truck up to max. payload you will not be able to tow a 7500# trailer and stay under the GCVWR for your truck.

All these numbers work together or against each other. Our wonderful manual does not explain the conditions required to achieve the 7500# tow rating. Look at the Ford towing guide and read all the fine print.

The payload sticker is for an as built truck. When you change something then you better know what you are doing.

Right any added weight from mods counts a payload.

Just noticed your tire pressure says 35psi with the 265-65-17 tires. Do the 2wd trucks run higher pressure? My sticker says 30psi with the same tires.
Different tires on his. The Tremor says 39. There are several "correct" factory pressures.

Lariat Tremor is 1430. For my recent Wyoming back country trip, I actually created a spreadsheet with the weight of everything I was packing, including myself and my son; since it was going to be largely on BLM roads and worse, I wanted to stay away from getting overloaded. We ended up having about 400lbs of wiggle room.

SAE J2807 includes 150# driver and passenger baked into it.
It has the driver but I'm not sure it has a passenger too. But it is definitely a empty truck beyond that.

Straight from the SAE Doc.

Ok, I checked into it and yes SAE J2807 does include a driver and passenger. But that is for calculating maximum tow capacity. I believe you both count towards payload capacity.

But GCVW is 12,500. So you can come close. I have added some accessories, but also removed a little. The adds are greater than the removes. I typically head out at GCVW around 11,700.
