parking sensor going off

We have had some bad weather here. Since it snowed I have a parking sensor going off. I have cleaned them off and it still goes off. I've washed the truck a few times and it still goes off. The roads are dry now and they would still go off. Very annoying with it beeping when you stop at a traffic signal or stop sign. They did finally quit about 3 days with no snow. But I expect them to go off again with the next storm (tonight we are supposed to get one). I do like them to work since I do use them.

I have to disable mine when the weather is conducive to freezing rain or ice. The sensors ice up and go off. Not sure why yours took so long to clear though. Mine will work normal again when they thaw out.

Yea it can be terrible and so loud and annoying. I was going out at night to pick up dinner. I keep my truck outside. It warmed up during the day and some snow melted and froze at night over a sensor. It is so loud and annoying. I am out at night trying to clean off a sensor in the dark. I ended up taking the wifes vehicle which has almost the same tech and never does this. Mine does this all the time when it snows or a little ice.. I mean a truck should be fine in the snow. Once the sensor is cleared it is fine they are just way to sensitive to any snow or ice.

Push the parking sensor button to turn them off when they are not working properly due to weather.

Snow was jambed all the way to the radiator and in every open crevice following this snow push picture. Wiped off all the sensors and they returned to normal.

Yes I use that button every time I back into the garage. Once I know I will clear the door I shut it off because it mutes the audio on Sirius ?

I've had to take a blow dryer to the sensors, especially after a car wash in winter. I now leave a dryer in the garage.

Brian pointed it out for you. I don't know what all the buttons are for either but that one I've had to use many times.
