I have a question and thought you guys might know. Will the parking lights go out on their own if left on after exit? (yeah I know I could just leave them on and find out ?) If so, do you know how long? Would this be a battery draining issue even if they do go out on their own, etc? I like leaving them on most all the time. My Tacoma would turn them off with the ignition so it was never an issue.

not sure, but a guess would be 15 minutes, but you're adding another draw besides the lights and thats the warning chime that will be dinging as well, you know you can set the exit timeout for a longer period using left ipc screen -settings screen, if you are looking for a longer light up a path to walk inside (reason), if you are doing it so you can leave switch in park lamps just for the appearance factor just try it out and time it, but no more than 15 minutes or you will most likely end up with low battery voltage issues.

Sweet...the wife and I call KC home but now in South Carolina due to her families needs. We truly miss KC and are considering buying a second home back there. KC is a GREAT place to live IMO. We lived on both side of State Line. Take care of things for us until we can get back :like:

Hmm, never tried this. I either have them on auto or completely off. So do you switch them to the parking light position when you start up and then want to leave them on?
Yup...I rarely turned them off in my Tacoma. I have just never tried leaving them on in my Tremor. The truck of course "tells" you that you have left them on when you open the door.

My switch stays in auto. I do have my DRLs set to in include parking lights. That way the parking lights are always on when the trucks not in park. I really hate that the DRLs don’t include tailights. I think Canada recently changed their laws on this.
