My wife is a Registered Nurse, and when we watch medical shows she just shakes her head at the mistakes and missteps the shows writers make. I do the same thing when I see truckers featured on shows and movies. Good entertainment I suppose for those that dont know, but if you DO know, you know...

You mean every trucker isn’t just like the one driving the tanker in Thelma and Louise? I’m shocked! I have uncles and a cousin who are/were truckers. I base my experience on them. Every time I see a big rig behind me, I be like….

I don't know how I managed to pull this off, because these two pictures are roughly 20 years apart. But somehow I parked Grandpas 91 F150 and my 22 Ranger at almost the same spot in the front yard.

I tell you what Duke, Old Blue was good old farm truck. It would do whatever was asked of it.

I had a 92 reg. cab with a 300ci inline 6. It was a gas guzzler, with two gas tanks.

I preferred the smaller sport mirrors but if I ever had to tow a trailer, I’m sure I would have loved them.

Duke, I like the pic of the Ranger you posted with the same trailer hauling mirrors on it as Grandpas Old Blue F150. Very cool!

One image of the new tires that I have already posted in another thread, and the other sitting on the parking pad.

Not aftermarket, but it needed the tires. This is the first set of all terrain tires that it has had since the Bridgestone ATs that were on it from the factory.

Still to come, after I reimburse myself from the new wheels and tires, worth every penny BTW.

As I was continuing to read through Sids @Msfitoy build thread, while I was visiting with Dad. BTW, Sid the parts where you were banned from here sucked, for lack of a better word. Two more items were added to the budget build. Mud flaps and a step for the back that mounts into the receiver hitch after I purchase it and have it installed. All of these parts I believe I can get them through Lone Star Conversions. Thank you all for your patience in this build.
