Ohh yea brother, nothing like listening to the dogs at night for sure. I bought my Ranger back at the end of May, at the time noooo one had coil overs ready that were over 3inches. So I went the cheaper route and spent about $200 for the Readylift kit. I've had zero issues with it so far with a tad over 15k miles on it. I'm running a 17x9 -12mm off set wheel with 295/70/17's. Had to add the flares to help cut down on the sandblasting and mud off the sides. Here is what it looked like with out the bushwacker's. I'm still thinking about painting the letters blue on the tires, lol.

We have sticky clay mud and i'm wondering how those Coopers would do in that? Also what about snow?

After having STTs on my power wagon and my Rubicon I will say they are superb off-road. Horrible in any snow or ice. Not very good in the wet and I had a pull to the right in both vehicles with them, but that’s more of a mud tire issue than the Coopers. Never again though. Don’t know about mud but I’m sure they’re terrific in anything but light snow/ice Off-road.

So I'm thinking about doing a 3.5 inch lift on my Ranger.

I'm currently deciding between the Fabtech, BDS or Rough Country kit.

All three include control arms and spacers for the front and either a block or shackle for the rear.

I'm interested to hear from other members who have installed one of these kits.

I plan on running the stock 18s and 275/70/18s which are slightly bigger than 33s. So I'm also wondering which of these will work with stock wheels. I feel like all 3 should work, but only the BDS kit mentions it.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Coby
If you are still looking for a good quality lift I would recommend the old man emu by ARB. I just installed it this last week on my truck and just took it off road today. I still have the arch you're talking about and I have way more control off-road compared to stock. I'm also running 265 70 17 on this truck right now. Here's some pictures so you can get an idea.

A bit off topic but what fuel mileage are you guys getting with lift kits and large tires? Just curious, thanks!
I think the mileage has a lot to do with driving style. I notice some guys say they have lost quite a bit of MPG. I have dropped from 22 to around 20 with a 33.2 inch tall tire. But I usually drive like I have miss daisy in the back for my daily commute.

Lol I can back your claim here. How you drive definitely affects the MPG. I have 265/70-17 Bridgestone Dueler Revo 3's with the Old Man EMU lift and before my tune I lost 0.5 MPG if I keep it steady. After i got my tune I got that back plus an extra 2 MPG getting me to 24 MPG.
