So as the title may imply, I’m wondering if I can piece together a “real” lift from my existing aftermarket shocks/struts. Right now I’ve got Bilstein 5100s on all four corners, with the front set at 1.8in. It still has the slightest bit of rake but was an improvement off road and looks nice...
I want to take my Ranger off-roading, mostly rock crawling, or whatever rock crawling it can handle, Lol. As such, I want to increase tire size to 33s. Do I need to regear?
So I'm thinking about doing a 3.5 inch lift on my Ranger.
I'm currently deciding between the Fabtech, BDS or Rough Country kit.
All three include control arms and spacers for the front and either a block or shackle for the rear.
I'm interested to hear from other members who have installed...
I haven't quite decided on how much of a lift I want to run or which wheel/tire combo I want to go with.
I'm currently thinking I want to run 33's and a 3.5 inch lift.
Does anyone know what the biggest tire size is that will still fit in the stock spare tire location?
Thanks in advance,
Coby
