Does anyone know of a company that sells a one piece driveshaft for a supercrew 2WD? My month old driveshaft carrier support bearing is periodically making noises. Thanks.

Can't you go with the Tom Woods that is popular here? I don't think the driveshaft is 2WD/4WD dependent?

The shaft may be a bit longer because of not having a transfer case. I believe Tom Woods wants you to send them a measurement between the output flange and the differential flange. Someone with a 2WD Will probably chime in.

I messaged Tom Woods if they offer a 2WD one piece driveshaft and Shawn Woods messaged me back and said they only offer one for a 4WD.

You could try a local driveshaft shop

I would be careful of that. I built a V8 Ranger 12 years ago or so. To simplify the build I went with a 1 piece drive shaft. I tore up 2 transmissions, both cruising on the highway at about 75. On the second one, the transmission guy happened to walk into the shop when I was pulling it out. He looked at the set up and said the driveshaft was too long and was responsible for the damaged transmissions. It was flexing in the middle at high speeds and beating things up. FWIW.

Single piece aluminum typically solve the issue by being huge, like 5 inch diameter, or go exotic like carbon fiber.
