So this is my first 4x4 vehicle and I'm a total noob. I have the 4x4 (not the fx4) and no elec locking diff.

Hoping there are some okies here that have some advice on good places to go and get my feet wet with some very easy, safe offroading.

This is the place that i know of. I've never been, but the Jeep group I'm in goes. Cant really vouch for the trails or difficulty, but it doesnt seem all that far from you.

And definitely do NOT go alone. Especially if the first time somewhere. I would check out some facebook groups for offroading/4x4 groups in your area. I'm in DFW so there's a bunch here

old thread but ive just seen it. i go to cross bar ranch once every few months. its great! your 4x4 ranger can handle most of the trails here just fine as long as you are careful and not in a hurry. the stock tires will not last at cross bar... the place was a rock quarry years ago so they still have lots of rocky spots some are pokey and jagged. they will swiss cheese the hankooks lol.

There’s an area near Tulsa right next to Keystone lake dam that people use and then there’s a location in Disney,Ok close to grand lake that’s popular as well. You also have Little Sahara. OP, have you had any luck finding more places? I live in Tulsa area. A guy I work with has a Bronco and has been checking these places out and says they’re fun. I haven’t taken my tremor yet tho.
