Thanks everyone. I guess I got lucky. My base 4x4 has the locking rear diff and is pretty comfy for a 4x4 pickup.

Then you are good to go! Just about all of the fx4 functionality can be programmed in with forscan but in all actuality it isn't very useful, the trail cruise control is a fine gimmick but it takes away from the fun. I would look at a shock upgrade though regardless, it will clean up the slightly sloppy handling and bounce the stock shocks have
