I put my rear head rests back there because when I took the head rests off my Focus, I lost them. Looked fucking every where for the damn things. Vanished! So at least I can just yank them out if I need to pop them back on. But I will check for blocked vents.

Cant blow air in without letting air out, as well as not blowing out your eardrums when you slam the door.
Could you imagine the air pressure build up if you slammed all 4 doors at the same time with no vents, pop the windshield out

I have one laying in the under seat storage with other stuff

This is why I got a swing case. So far one holds everything I need for emergencies; including a quart of oil. Super easy to remove if I need the entire bed for something.

Anyone know if a quart of oil will fit behind the rear seat in that open gap?

I want to put one there but don't want to slam the seat shut and pop an oil bottle back there if it won't fit....

Should not be an issue, I have a aux braking system back there, as well as a bottle jack in a case.

Yep, in addition to the jack, invisobrake control, and air pump, I have a jump starter and use the jack handle straps to hold down both my short and long range HAM antennas.

Now in keeping with the topic…. I now have my bed cover on and it works well my plan is to keep a couple of the 25 gallon plastic tubs back there. One with tool and the other with the misc ash and trash that one feels the need to have along. Will use a ratchet strap to hold them in place. If I need to haul they will be easy enuf to pull out
