Why to the center console? You can run the wire from the fusebox under the drivers door sill protector and then under the carpet to the underside of the drivers seat to connect to the battery pack.
I was running cat5 connection between remote head/fascia socket and decided to run power that way also (since I was already running it). Only had to take off back panel cap and pop shifter cover up as I had used a scope to check out the run up the left side of the console...

tape/staple to headliner would have been easier or just tossing what was needed from back too front...maybe some gorilla tape or duct??

Here's from Service Manual on back panel, do you need to remove the C pillar also?

Awesome. thanks. Can I buy a service manual somewhere?

Those "pin type retainers" are a nightmare to get out. Need a to buy a bag of them as they always seem to be mangled.

I also seem to break quite a few of the blue retaining clips

The manual is pricey, but as you can see, invaluable too Manual 2019 ranger is where I got mine.

Make sure you get the panel removing tools, I think Dave (@AzScorpion ) mentioned and there is a kit with tools and those retaining pins you can get or just pins.

The blue ones I haven't looked for...yet...as I took everyone's "take it slow and easy" to heart on all the pin stuff.
