I’ll take one in a manual please. Wonder how the drivetrain will hold up compared to the ranger. I don’t see the need for assisted back up tech. Too much tech stuff sometimes.

The seating position is one of the first things almost all of the reviews comment on, how it has finally been fixed.

Then they comment on how terrible the V6/6 speed auto combo was and the new one is far better.

I may take a look at one after the initial frenzy has died down. I will never pay over MSRP for a depreciating asset.

TRD Off Road with a 6 speed is about the same list as I paid for my 21 Tremor.

Toyota may very well get my my cash in a year.

Non-hybrid MPG is not impressive at all. I'm guessing a hybrid adds a few dollars to the price ($5,000 maybe or is that too rich?) I'd be curious to drive one if I were in the market but I've got no buyers remorse one way or the other.

Seems as though they have same hp and torque numbers as the Ranger with a little better combined mpg for the non hybrid. The Ranger Tremor mpg was rated 19city/19hwy.

If history repeats itself, the Taco's will be so short on payload they won't even be able to tow that much, regardless of the powertrain.

I stand by my statement. Ask someone thats had to have one repaired. 3K to have timing components replaced. Under 100K miles. All of my Fords have made that plus.

I would not tow much more than 5k with our trucks or any small pickup. We did not buy these tiny truck to have max towing. LOL
