I get that same weird tone change every now and then...very annoying but it's just a glitch that goes away...
I’ve only had this happen once and at the time my truck had been on a charger for a week and tested fine and has tested fine since. So, at least in my case, the battery was not the cause.

Yes since 1994. When my wife and I departed company she got stuck with the house and I got the boat. Been living on it ever since. Waterfront property every where I go. No yard work.
Pic of the boat please, so I can be jealous? :D

I had been out of town for a wedding and the last time I drove my truck was Wednesday evening. This morning I got the weird chiming condition again, and I paid closer attention to the screens and indicators on the dash and saw a low battery function message on the center screen. So I know what is all going on now with the info you guys have responded with. My battery voltage must be dropping and some of my functions are shutting down to save the juice.

Also having this issue with my 2019 ranger. Happens randomly, but mostly the first time I turn it over each day. I've figured out however, that if I put the key in and turn to ON, then let the media console screen load all the way to the main menu, then turn it over, it chimes normally. The key is to get past the Ford logo screen and see the menu buttons appear BEFORE cranking the starter.

Weird chime sound means battery is getting low.
Have your dealer check the battery well, and if it's going bad it can be replaced under warranty.
Happened to my '19.
I had my battery and alternator tested, and it came back fine.

I don't think it's battery related. I had the same thing after I got a new battery. I think it has to do with the UI software booting up. Or possibly if the door is open it won't make the sounds through the speakers like normal.

Hello! It seems like you're experiencing an unusual change in the pitch of the ignition chime in your truck. Changes in the pitch of such chimes can be indicative of an issue with the electrical system or the chime mechanism itself.

I agree with Feruiki -it appears the IPC chime side might be the issue, after full boot of Sync, it is switching to the speakers.
It may have a code generated for IPC.
You might try Performing IPC and BCM self tests and see if problem resolves itself.
I am guessing it would be the seat belt chime, might try putting seat belt on before start to isolate it.
Vs
Start then put seat belt on

Hello, my open door chime has started sounding odd, is it the battery? I’ve attached a video so you can hear the difference before and after I insert the key. It’s never sounded like this before.

I would check battery voltage, and I believe that is the Headlight's are on Chime. (With the Key -Out) and I believe you have a low voltage issue from the battery.
When you insert the key in the ignition, it switches, over to a faster chime - Key in Ignition

I don't think there is a door open chime, unless the engine is running.
