No more front license plate required (as of 7/1/20) for my Ford Ranger in Ohio - I replaced it with this.

Very simple removal. Two screws, and two tabs that pop off the back edge of the bumper.

yes You would think but the lot jockey that put mine on stripped both of them. It was hard taking a cut off wheel to my ranger with 230 miles on it.
but in the end I got it off and got the bolts out thank you for the help. Mike

Went to take mine off...it hurt. The bracket had rubbed the paint all the way through. Could even see the black beneath the paint. It was painful to look at, couldn’t even bear to take a picture of it. Will try to touch up and see how bd it looks and if I can remove the bracket.

Yep, similar situation here but not down to the black. Gonna see if it buffs out.

Bought Mine From a Friend who is the GM of Liberty Ford Cleveland Ohio & he removed it before I Took Delivery March 1st 2020....Nice & Clean!

Bought in December, to.ok a chance at first becasue for some reason the truck did not have its bracket. they finally got one for me and by that time I had learned of the impdending change. Anybody need a front license plate bracket - never used.

I need one. Still have it?

Ohio here too. I haven't had a front plate on my vehicles in probably 8 years. Never had an issue. When I took delivery of my Ranger a couple weeks ago the front bracket was in the glove box. I promptly "installed" it in the trash lol

I am glad they finally changed the law ??
