Hello everyone, I just joined tonight after lurking for a month or so...This site helped me in my search for answers about the New Ranger. I purchased a new one today. :) 2019 Ranger XLT 302a FX4 Chrome Steps (ordered) Towing and Hot Pepper Red with Medium Stone seats.

It had 15 miles and MSRP of almost 41,500. I got it OTD for 34 flat. It is missing two tie downs in the middle and the air pressure was 45 pounds in each tire. Car was an October deliver to dealer, paint and fit looks good. The hard dash pad has a couple minor human caused defects is all I've seen so far but I have yet to detail except wiping down the interior a little...I purchased it before I ever sat in it lol...

I am retired just this year after more than 45 years working in the bearing industry. This truck replaced a GMC Canyon that I had leased for three years and over 32k miles. In my minds eye this is to be my last truck. :fingerscrossed:

Thanks for all the information so far...Enjoy your Rangers, life is short.

Great looking Ranger! Nice job! I too was an Audi guy. Had an ‘02 allroad for 17 years before my Ranger. The bi-turbos were still going strong.... I just needed the utility of a truck.
Thank you BButah.. I love Turbos, and when I heard the new Ranger had one.. Game on!!! twin turbos?? Damn!!

Aloha Hawk!
Sharp looking ride!
I see you are a chrome kinda guy too, the Hot Pepper Red really goes well with it.
Can't wait till my 2020 S/Cab in Rapid Red Tri-coat with the chrome package gets here Jan. 9.
I share the same sentiments as you, I retired 1 1/2 years ago after 42.5 years of working, the 2020 will most likely be my last new vehicle purchase.
Enjoy!

Hello there, enjoy the new truck and retirement! Yes I love the chrome look. Its just the right amount of contrast on that truck...and being an old guy, we painted our wheels black back in the day cause we couldn't afford the "good" looking Cragers and Keystones... I was amazed that you can buy a truck in 2020 with real steel bumpers I wanted the chrome there for the contrast and less maintenance and worries of more paint chips over time. I mean it will get enough of them on the rest of the truck...

Thanks again and see you on the site...

Hawk

Hi, I'm Kevin and I purchased a 2019 Oxford white 2WD Ranger Sport last Thursday. So far I am extremely pleased with my truck. I like the simplicity of the truck partnered with some of the latest technology. It's a good fit for me. Quite a change from the Focus ST that I have been driving most of the time.
The engine package is one of the things that convinced me to go ahead and buy the this Ranger. I'm very familiar with the engine family and how it performs as the ST and our Titanium Escape have similar engines. I will be ordering the black tipped dual outlet Borla exhaust system tomorrow. Also on the list is a ram air system based upon the Focus ST unit that I constructed. I am anxiously waiting to see the finished product that Belltech is developing. Depending on the timeline of their product release, I may choose to build my own lowering system. Time availability is going to be the deciding factor. All in time I keep telling myself!
I look forward to seeing what others are and will be doing to their Rangers.

Thanks! I was a little surprised that lowering options were not available. I hope the Belltech arrives within 6 months time. I have many projects in process and one less would be great!

Hey Y'all! I just got accepted and look forward to rubbing elbows with other Ranger owners. I've been working on my 2019 for almost a month getting it ready for the road. All accessories are in place and plan on enjoying this truck for a long time.

Hey All
Just bought a White 4WD XLT crew cab. Love it so far - but do notice the 20-30mph shake. Will be getting a spray in liner in the new year and look forward to many more mods based on the great ideas in this forum.
Coming from a Nissan Frontier that I bought new and had for 12 years. I miss that truck, but love my Ranger!
