Just installed a set of Fox DSC 2.5 rear shocks, the lower bushing fit my 2WD 0.464” lower shock bolt diameter without any modifications. Tip: use some masking tape to hold the upper nuts in place before pulling the bolts out., especially on the passenger side.

Does anybody know the the actual difference between the 4WD and 2WD lower rear shock mount bolt diameters? Or if any of the 2WD folks remember what drill size they needed to use fit their after market rear shocks, that would work also. Thanks.

19 4x2 xlt super cab here, had a 4x4 Tacoma, hadn’t used 4 wheel drive in a long while, wanted to keep the weight down. Does have the locking rear diff.

Just picked up 19 SCab and within only a few miles noticed a really nasty rattle. Had some time to poke around today and found this under the drivers seat! ;)

That ‘12 Tacoma is mine also, going to sell it to my brother in-law, it was a good truck!
