Hey everyone. New member from Arkansas.I have went to the dark side, and traded my 2017 Toyota 4Runner for a 2020 Lariat. Figured I would join the forum, and check out all the others since the is my first Ranger.
I have had a few Toyota trucks, two 4runners in the past. I wanted a small truck, really wanted a Tacoma. After driving a few Tacoma’s, I had decided I would keep the 4Runner. I couldn’t stand the latest generation of Tacoma’s. They drive terrible! And they are weak! Anemic at best.
Well, last Saturday, I got on Autotrader, and was looking at Tundras. I was thinking, if the Tacoma doesn’t work, I will find a Tundra and at least drive one. After seeing the gas mileage, I said no way. So, I continued to search used and new vehicles.
While searching, a Ranger popped up on the screen. I had never even considered one, but liked the way this one looked.
Long story short, drove it, loved it. I love everything about it. The way it looks, the size, the comfort, the drive. It came home with me.
2020 Lariat FX4. Used with only 2000 miles. A lady had bought it last year, and went back to a car and traded it in.
I don’t off road just to get one dirty, but I hunt a lot of days a year and need 4WD. So it will get used as needed for that purpose. I hope it lasts, and is dependable. This is Fords chance of winning over a Toyota guy!! So far, it has won me over.

Hey, everyone! I've had my Ranger now for about a month. I'm on the west side of Phoenix. Coming from an 18 Wrangler JLU. So far, I gotta say I'm pretty impressed. Still bone stock, except for some stickers, a stubby antenna, and the tailgate damper (I heard there was a HP boost, but, I haven't noticed yet). Going to add Line-X the end of the month. Took these on top of Harquahala Mountain this morning.

Hello! I just bought this 2019 this past Saturday. It has 5k miles and I just couldn’t pass it up. I drive 25k miles per year with my job and didn’t want to spend a lot on a work vehicle but also wanted a truck. This XL solved that!

Hello fellow Ranger Lovers,

I just bought my first ever truck: a 2021 Ford Ranger Lariat Tremor in "Iconic Silver".

Have a great week everyone!

Just wanted to say hi, and share the fact that I’ve had my Tremor for a month now...
And I absolutely love it.

Every time I sit at the wheel, I think to myself “I love this truck ? ”.

I regularly play the “Ford fuckn Ranger” song while driving.
I even created a Siri Shortcut that responds to “Hey Siri, start my truck”, which starts that beauty and plays a short sample of the song on my watch.
I think I’ve even started to develop a hillbilly southern accent…

It's also a blast to have become part of this community.

I love this truck.
It’s tragic.

New Member,
Hello everyone,
I purchased a 21 Ranger Lariat FX4 last Tuesday, I’ve put about 230 miles so far, would be quite more, but I drive a big rig cross country every week and that keeps my mileage low.
I have bought some accessories for “her”, waiting to get home and install.

Hey all. Cool site. My name is Jacob. I’ve owned quite a few trucks. All modified 4x4s. 22r’s, 350 small blocks, 4.3 vortecs, 3.0 Vulcans, 4.0 h.o. IMO Ford is presently leading the truck market with their visionary engineering. I will definitely be purchasing another ranger or Ford truck when the time presents itself. Cheers!

I’ve had Toyota’s for years as well as working at the dealership as parts guy. Not looking back love this new Ranger. 1800 on it towed the trailer easily. Wifey likes it too. Waiting on the folding hard tonneau. First one damaged by Usually Pound and Smash.

Hello Ranger-ers,

I'm new to the forum from Haldimand County, Ontario (the north shore of Lake Erie).

In February I bought a new 2020 Lariat FX4 Black with Black Pack, and I am LOVING it. I had the dealer do a 3.5 lift, Warn Ascent front bumper & Warn 12s winch install, along with some other smaller work, before I picked it up.

I have since added more, building a cross-country off-road touring camping retirement vehicle. I will likely do a build thread and stack the photos, because I'm still pretty pumped about it, lol.

Back orders and shipping delays have slowed the whole process, but rims, tires, light bar, light pods, reverse lights, box lights, rock lights, under hood lights, tonneau, swing out left, sliders, cb, tint, hood and window guards, S-pod, fuel tank, water tank, secondary 12V & compressor are all here or on route. I also updated a bunch of new recovery gear, as I'll be doing allot of solo tripping.

I knew as soon as I saw this site, it was going to cost me more money, and while surfing first day, I'm already set up to order a Prinsu Roof Rack and accessories first thing tomorrow morning, lol. I love it though, I still need a few things to complete my vision.
