Howdy from Texas!

Picked up a 2021 Ford Ranger Lariat Tremor 501A, Rapid Red, Tow Package and Spray in bed liner on 4/20/21. (Bed Liner to be sprayed on Thursday morning). This will be my 2nd Ranger. I owned a 1993 Ford Ranger and loved it as 21 year old at the time.

I have enjoyed reading the posts over the weekend and have gotten a lot of ideas. I have RANGER letters ordered, wire management clips for dash cam cord, American flag sticker for the sliding window, Gator Tri-fold Tonneau cover, and the tailgate damper. 3 of the items were delivered while typing this message so I'll be fiddling around with that this evening drinking cold beer.

I'm interested in possibly adding the bug deflector and the swing toolbox. Also looking for ideas to use the Auxiliary switches so I'll be searching some threads to see what other owners are doing.

Happy to be a part of the Ranger community again!

I didn't need any wire management for my dashcam. A strategically placed ball of paper towel stuffed under the head liner holds the cable in place, where in runs under the liner, down the pillar door jam seal, under the weathertech liner and passenger seat to the rear USB plug. Similar for the rear facing cam.

Appreciate the advice. My cord wasn’t long enough to reach the back but we were able to go up the head liner with the paper towels and down the passengers side under the glove box. Much better option than what I originally planned to do.

Cool. You can get an extender cable if you want. I used the front USBs for my phone and ipod, but the rears are free.

And this just happened. I decided last week that I needed to get rid of my 2014 Nissan Xterra Pro4x and get back to a pickup. Glad I went with the Ranger. Looking forward to a great Colorado summer with this truck. Just need to get my Xtrusion Overland rack and pop the RTT on.

So a quick couple pics. The hard folding tonneau was damaged in shipment so add it next week and rocker sill protected. Tool box will be for hitch when not using it and other stuff I don’t want rattling round in the cab. Bed rug seems good choice and missus wanted the steps. The bike won’t be coming with us this trip.

Joined the Ranger club back in January. I am a Chevy guy but this little turbo machine won me over. Little over 4k miles so far. Really like this truck! 2020 XLT with FX4 pkg.
