Hey all. Just joined, figured this was the best place for my first post. I picked up a 2020 White XLT FX4 about a month ago. So far, I love it (aside from the suspension).

I'm coming from a 97 4Runner that tragically died at around 210,000. Seemed like the head gaskets were failing again, and after one replace, I didn't want to deal with it. So luckily was able to trade it in for something decent and get this Ranger for a good price.

Hoping to get my learn on and maybe contribute to the 9+ page w/ the deezee tailgate mod thread.

Hey everyone, I've been creeping on here for about a month or so before I finally got myself a 2019 Lariat FX4. Already have some LED goodies on the way since Ford couldn't make up their mind on if they should use incandescents or LED's haha. Next mods/add-ons will be a coil over leveling kit, window tint, FORscan changes, and spray-in bed liner. I'm sure there will be more just based on my research from this forum.

Hi all. After a 35 year hiatus (I owned a 1986 Ranger 4x4!), I picked up a new XLT this weekend. Its good to be back! Specs are:

Iconic Silver / Black
301a Package
FX4
Sport
Tech
Trailer Tow
Spray in Bedliner
Black step rails

I’ll probably add a soft roll tonneau, mud flaps, Weathertech mats and maybe the bed extender, but not much more. I cross shopped all the competitors and the Ranger just seemed to check more of my boxes. I look forward to leaning on the collective wisdom of this forum as I learn the ins and outs of this cool truck.

I joined when my brother-in-law told me about this forum. He has a 2020 XLT SuperCrew RWD and had gotten tons of info from here. I had been looking at them since this past summer, test drove one in the fall, and then got busy with life.

I finally got off the stick and committed to what I thought was a 2020 XLT SuperCrew 4X4 in Iconic Silver. The dealer had a good price and sent me the spec sheet. It said "S/C" which I took to be SuperCrew. When we got to the dealership yesterday, the salesman welcomed us and took us out to see "our new Ranger". It was a SuperCab and not SuperCrew. Ooops.

To make a long story short, my 2021 XLT SuperCrew 4X4 in Iconic Silver, 301a option pkg, locking diff, and trailer package will be delivered Tuesday...to my house. Given we live 150 miles from the dealership, they went out of their way to make it right. The salesman and his manager searched and searched until they found exactly what I wanted, gave us a good deal, added in my student bonus (classes at 63 planning for my retirement career paid off!), and are even delivering to our home which is 150 miles away from the dealership.

Now to start with the mods.

Haven't done much to it yet, just added Husky liners and a Rough Country mat in the bed. Going to be getting Line X done in about a week, window tint, and probably the Ford Performance tune. I am sure I will find other random stuff to buy.

Hello all, my name is Jeremy from Phoenix. Traded in my 04 Silverado for the 21 Ranger two weeks ago and am loving it. Took her up Harquahala Peak out west of town this weekend to play in the mud and snow. Handled the trail really well until I blew the LF tire half a mile from the top. Overall its been a blast to drive and can't wait to start making some mods to her!
