Finally got my trekstep installed today. Got a 2 foot breaker bar, did the job getting that bolt loose no problem.

Yep, that one. Couldn't break it loose with a normal size 1/2" wrench. Probably need to get a breaker bar.

For anyone who installed the Bestop Trekstep, did you have any issue loosening the bolt in step 1 that needs to be taken out and then re-installed when you install the trekstep?

Got my windows tinted today. 20% in the front two windows, 35% on the rear windows. Reason for 35% was to not make the rear windows too dark. Got the Xpel Prime XR Ceramic film for the heat rejection. Seattle is not known for being hot but it does get hotter than people think here in the summer.

Gatorback mudflaps from Levittown. Pleasantly surprised. For some reason, in the online pictures, my eyes saw the "Ranger" text as being white. In-person, its actually silver and looks better than the pictures to me.

Think I need one of these bestop treksteps. I am 5'5", but also have abnormally short legs for my height. I am in good shape, but being short with short legs makes it hard to get in the bed.

Ordered the Ranger Gatorback mudflaps today. Of course I had to spend the extra money to get the ones with the Ranger metal plates on them. I am good at spending excess money on two things, the truck and golf equipment.
