I Purchased my 2019 lariat with 2kmiles on the odometer (demo) back in January. Love it so far.
However Anybody here have the Roush stage one kit? I had a dealer install the kit but I have not noticed a difference. I even took it to The dragstrip for a before and after comparison, and the 1/4 mile times were identical. Weather was within 5° between the two days. I’m thinking the tune wasn’t installed properly?

Hey gang, really diggin' the place ??

For my first retirement, I rewarded myself with this 2020 4WD XLT... 16 miles on the odometer when I left the lot.

Just over two weeks into it, I've thrown a bed extender on the back, and 3 LED grille lights out front... put a modest tint on the windows, as well.

Drove a brand new 1997 Ranger XLT (5sp manual, 3.0 V6, standard cab, flareside) for 20 years, until passing it down to my oldest. Just passed down a 2008 MINI Cooper S, that I also drove for the last 12 years, to my youngest.

Having a blast with the truck... I'm a fan of the factory ride height, and how quick this joker can get up and go. I still have no idea what all the buttons do. Good times ??

Hi KJ,

Congrats on your retirement! Hope your Ranger serves your needs for many years to come. My CAE engineers did all the forward analysis on your 1997 Ranger chassis... I took over Ranger Vehicle Engineering in 1998 for launch of the 1999 Ranger until I retired with the launch of the 2003 Ranger...

Best,

Welcome KJ,
Stick around here and ask, we'll help you find out what all the buttons can and can't do. Also what you can maybe make the do differently. ? Also you find all the things you never knew you can't live without. Watch out it will drain your retirement account pretty fast.

Right, Phil?

Hi Lee,

Can confirm wallet hit! Day one I spent about $1700 with only about 38 miles on the truck. Every time I say done....someone comes up with a new item, like the tailgate damper... :)

Hi folks! Just coming back into the Ford fold after a 4 year excursion into the Ram and Titan worlds. Spankin' new Lariat, still at the dealer's for PDI and suchlike stuff. I've been slinking around this place for about a week now, and now I've got a list of stuff I NEED that's a mile long! Thanks everyone for putting me in the doghouse before I even get the beast home!!!

Nice looking truck, can't wait to see the mods.

Yeah, this forum is horrible, my list of wants/needs is longer than my bank account is deep. So I'll just say welcome to the club. I hope you have a comfortable doghouse cause you'll be there a while. ?⛺

Welcome! Well you might as well get use to it if you're going to be on this forum! We've all bought a ton of stuff we never knew we needed, it never ends. Can I suggest a bed rug so you'll have a nice comfy place to sleep for a while? lol

I lurked here for a while to see how everyone was enjoying their Ranger, I spent weeks looking for one, and finally found one. Waited a couple more weeks for it to be shipped in and I can definitely say I am happy with my purchase. Originally, I was looking into the Tacoma but it just didn’t feel right when test driving it. I love the Ranger!

Kyle here with a 2020 Rapid Red Ranger Lariat, 501a with Black Package in Vancouver, BC. I'm returning to my roots, having been a former proud owner of a 1997 Ford Ranger extended cab many years ago. I love the irony that my 1997 and 2020 Rangers were both powered by a 2.3L 4-cyl engine, though this one is much more fun to drive!

Love this forum for the couple of weeks I've been an owner. There don't seem to be many (haven't seen one in town) in Vancouver, so not much local support, which makes this all the better.

I joined the forum a few weeks ago after becoming a new Ranger owner earlier this summer. I love my truck so far, and I have found this forum very helpful.

She is a black Lariat FX4 crewcab with the black appearance package, and I have added pivot truck boxes and a Pro x15 tonneau cover so far.
