Good morning everyone. Nothing here that you haven't seen before... 2019 Supercrew XLT 301A FX4 in Lightning Blue. Took advantage of the 0% for 84 month rate and am very happy with my purchase.

So far, I've only added the OEM step bars, but I'd like to do a tune and exhaust one of these days and maybe a mild stereo upgrade. Gotta save up some $$$.

Thanks to everyone on here for all the great info.

THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTES TO THIS FORUM!

Hi, all!

I bought a 2019 XL STX Ranger back in March. I have learned a lot already from this site. This is my first pickup truck.

My last vehicle was a 2001 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer which was an un-wanted hand-me-lateral from my now ex wife.

I went from racing around in tiny hatchbacks to the Explorer, and almost instantly changed my driving style and mindset from roadraging to relaxed AF.
It was the "high rollover risk" warning sticker on the visor. No more speeding tickets, or radar detectors needed since 2002. ?

So I went to the local Ford dealership to look at a used Nissan Xterra and drove home in my new Ranger instead. ?

Love at first sight! No research, no bartering, or negotiating, but most importantly is no regrets ?

HI ALL! Newbie here, first post, first truck, first Ford. Traded a VW Golf R for something more practical since the apocalypse seems to be upon us :)

It's a sweet vehicle, and a vast improvement over the first Ford truck I ever drove in 1977, which was a 1967 F100 with a 3 on the tree, manual steering, bench seats, roll up windows, plenty of dings, scratches, and rust. It creaked and groaned when it moved, turned, or when the suspension flexed.

I've driven a bunch of trucks over the years, including a deuce and a half, a 5-ton, and a gamma goat in the Army, and various other pickups, utilities, etc.

This thing, the new Ranger, is a world apart from those more spartan trucks. Man is this a great time to drive a truck or what!

Hello from WV! Just purchased a new Hot Pepper Red FX4. Already have it tuned and have added some other odds and ends (need to get new pics). Look forward to contributing.

Congratulations, Looks good.

I bet there are many on this site that never drove a manual steering vehicle. My first car was a 1957 Chevy. Manual everything. My mother couldn't drive it because she just wasn't strong enough to crank that steering wheel. Window cranks took some effort too. Windshield wipers were vacuum operated. They stopped when you accelerated. Oh how far we have come.

Enjoy your truck.

You kids and your fancy new cars. There are probably a few more on here than you guess who had or have cars without modern conveniences

I drive my 1951 Fleetline pretty regularly around Seattle. And it's still 6 volt with vacuum wipers and 8-candle-watt headlights. Every day is arm and leg day in a classic!

Picked mine up last Saturday with 5 miles on the odometer. 2020 XLT FX4. This is the first time I’ve bought a brand new vehicle and it’s so far my favorite vehicle I’ve owned. Now it’s time to pinch pennies for mods

I drove a 1971 Mustang with a dead power steering pump for about 3 months when in highschool... does that count, lol?

Finally found & bought the right Ranger and I'm excited to join the club! 2019 XL STX FX4 + tow package, hit the perfect blend of utility and amenities for me. It's my first new vehicle purchase and first Ford ever after a years of beating up used 4x4 Chevys, Toyotas, and Jeeps out on the trails. This one won't get the abuse that trucks from my younger years received but it will see some good off-road time on exploring/camping trips, and eventually it will haul building supplies out to the middle of nowhere once I get the time and money to start turning my patch of dirt into the "ranch." Thanks to the admins and you all for being a great source of knowledge and I look forward to hanging around!
