New Ranger owner, never had a truck before traded in a escape to get my new jewel, .Xlt with tow package, navigation, 302A package, locking differential .and 18" wheels
So far I have put weathertech mats in front and rear, weathertech mud guards, bed cover and the ignition ring around switch also put the tailgate damper on and love it.
Only have about 120 miles on the clock but so far I'm still in the honeymoon stage :)
Congrats!!!

Hello everyone,
New member and coming from the F150 crowd. I decided to try the smaller truck and see how I like it. So far I can tell it is smaller and kind of miss the F150 but my reasons for trying the Ranger were better turning radius and easier parking which can be a real PITA in truck unfriendly cites in the PDX region.

I bought right before Christmas. $42,400 MSRP and got the Ford $6100 + $500 PCO + $6300 dealer discount.

Rick
Congrats on the new truck! I also stepped down from an F150 to a Ranger for similar reasons and I know when I need it ill miss the cargo room of the F150 but otherwise, I'm luv'n the Ranger!

Ahoy Ahoy,
Ian from Kansas. I picked up a Silver Ingot Lariat FX4 in November. I have been waiting years for the Ranger to come back on the market, since I traded in my '99 Ranger years ago. Been driving a 2011 Escape Limited AWD since and missed having a truck. The wife got my Escape and we handed off her '04 Mazda 6 to our son who just started driving.
Love this truck and I am amazed at all of the compliments I get on it. I took it to a local detailer last month after a snow storm and every detailer was out there checking it out.

Hi All. . .Chuck from NE Ohio. Stumbled upon the Rangers one Sunday while were driving through dealer lots looking at Escapes and Edges since the lease was ending on our 2017 Escape.

Wife saw one of the Rangers in the Saber color and fell in love with it. That particular one was a no go so we started looking for a leftover 2019. in the Cleveland area Pickings were slim around twon but found a dealer in the western suburbs that had close to 30 remaining 2019s in pretty much all colors and trims (still has over 20 on the lot!). Headed up there on a rainy Saturday afternoon with a Saber Lariat and a Saber XLT we wanted to look at. . .Until she saw the Hot Pepper Red Lariat in person!

So instead of swapping the escape lease we traded our 2017 SuperCrew F150 XLT 4X4 for a 2019 Hot Pepper Lariat Crew Cab with the FX4 and Sport Packages. Wasn't sure how I'd like the smaller truck after driving F150s for the better part of 18 years, but I love it. Do miss the full size rear seats, but we have the Escape if we ever need to have 4 people.

My only dislike so far are the Hankook LT tires which really seem to give a harsh, stiff ride for highway use. Don't really plan on doing any off-roading so those will probably get swapped out later this spring for a equivalent passenger tire.

No pictures today as it's a pretty dreary NE Ohio winter day.

Check the tire pressure Chuck, all the Rangers I've heard about are coming way over-inflated.

This is my first Ranger and my 2nd Ford truck ever. I traded in my 2017 F150 SCREW FX4 XLT for it after I left the field and took an office based job. The size makes it ideal for traffic and parking but I still wanted capability for whatever else we may do. A dabble in the Overlanding world is definitely on our radar as well as a smaller travel trailer since it will be just the missus and I here in a few years. Hope everyone has a great day!

Hey from Atlanta. I got my truck about two months ago and have periodically hopped on here to look up info. Finally decided to join. Looking into doing a few cosmetic mods whenever my wife approves, just had a baby, so it’s hard to justify spending money on toys for a while

Denton TX here. Been lurking for several months and finally registered today.

Lifetime Ranger owner. First car was a '93 Ranger: 4-cylinder standard, single cab. When a drunk, coke-head decided to rear end me on the highway, that truck was replaced with a 2000 Ranger XLT: 3.0L 6-cylinder automatic, extended cab. Got it with 35k miles in 2003. Hit a 300 pound wild boar 4 weeks later. I was in college and never could afford to get the cosmetic damage fixed. By the time I could afford it, it was more than what the truck was worth. I ended up driving that truck to over 310k miles. Fuel pump finally started to go out in December.

So, after stashing away money for a new truck for the past two years, patiently waiting for the right time, I finally pulled the trigger and got my third Ranger. I tried to hold out for the 2020 since they decided to launch two Red colors (Texas Tech alum) but I knew my old one wasnt gonna make it to the end of the year.

Anyways, here's my Old Red a few weeks before I traded her in and my new Baby Blue (second pic is with the new Fox leveling kit).

Congrats on your new Ranger! The blue was was second choice after the Saber color. The old Ranger doesn't look all that bad for hitting a 300 lb wild boar! lol Any other mods planned? Hang around here long enough and you'll be buying something whether you want to or not. :D
