Hey everybody! Dropping in for a quick introduction.

I'm based in the East Valley Phoenix AZ area. I had a beautiful Ranger way back in high school, and have been excited about this new 5th gen since it arrived in the US.

I'm purchasing a '19 Ranger from my brother. I've been helping him pick and add a few of his own touches to the truck the past couple of years (which will become my touches soon enough).

Right now we've added:
-285/70r17 KO2s with the E rated sidewalls (this did make the ride a bit stiffer, but not too bad)
-Icon wheels +25mm offset
-ReadyLift 2" front spacer kit
-ReadyLift high clearance crash bar kit

I'll try to get an updated pic with the new tires and level in here. But if anyone is looking for some takeoff Lariat 18" Chrome wheels with FX4 tires, let me know.
Welcome!

Welcome! Dangerously close to @AzScorpion , so he may stop by with a tailgate damper... Or @DukeCanBuildit will be able to pinpoint your location from your post alone and one could be on it's way...

Too late, Duke can build fences and already established a DMZ.

Hey all,

I'm looking at purchasing a 2022 Roush Ranger today and came to the forum's for feedback regarding it. I'm hoping to buy it this week and have content to share in the future!

I've been a ford ranger fan for a while now, specifically when I noticed the new gen in Australia/other countries and the rugged places they get to without issue.

My only hope is that the sync 3 in these is better than the one in my 2015 focus which decides every other day it doesn't like Bluetooth

Sorry to hear the purchase ended up not working out! I am sure you will find something in th e near future, although the further along production goes it seems the more items get ‘deleted’ that used to be standard.

Hi, Ayoke here from Sydney Australia. Always dreamed having f350 but considering ranger now. glad to be here.
welcome! i like the f350s also but i didnt need one anymore. the ranger is a capable and fun truck. so unless you need the one ton pickup a ranger is a great choice.

i think the newer versions of sync are much better! i had a 2016 mustang with sync and while i didnt hate it, i didnt not really like the sync system. it took a lot of fumbling around with to get it to do what i want. the sync setup in my 5g seems a lot easier.

my 16 was a gt 301 A i think it was. so it had the sync screen etc. but manual six speed, cloth seats. did a tune and removed the resonator, put on a custom h pipe. It was a great car, never had a single issue. looked good ran great. i got it in 2015 as an early 16 and it got way more attention than i was ready for. random people would want to look it over while i was getting fuel or going thorough drive up windows lol.

Hi!

2022 Carbonized Grey Lariat 500 FX4 here from the middle of Canada. Thanks for the great site, did a lot of reading while deciding on what truck to get. Had the truck for 3.5 weeks now and loving it.

BTW already have tailgate damper, center console organizer and other various small accessories (with some more on the way...) thanks for the ideas

Hi Ayoke ,

Since 5G Ranger came to the USA from Australia, you have had the Ranger on your shores for about 3 years prior. There are many differences but the Ranger Heritage of being Ford Tough are in the ROW Ranger as well as the USA Ranger. Hope you find and purchase one you like...

Best,
Phil
