Hi all. I've had my 301A Fx2 for a couple weeks now and I really love it. My first new vehicle. I trades my 2013 f150 ext cab and not looking back. This truck will do 99.99999% of what I need on a daily basis. I can always rent a trailer if bed room isn't enough. Haven't been on a forum in a long time lol. but this one seems pretty active.

Eventually going for a 2" BDS level, either a 265/70 or 275/70 tire, FRP tune, exhaust, and various aesthetic things.

Im happy forums are still around, much better way to get info. Sports, cars, etc. Facebook can be s-show.

Not sure on FX4, but im not sure if a 2" Level will clear 275/70/(assuming 17) from the crash bars.

i agree about forums being easier. and much quicker to search through for info.

yes, 17s. i guess i can figure that out when the time comes. not a huge deal to replace them or modify as needed. or just go with a 265/70. would a wheel spacer hurt or help that scenario? 1-1.25 inch at most.

i rather not go higher than 2". i want just the slightest bit of rake. the factory rake is ridiculous.

From Fords Ranger option sheet it shows LT 265/70R17 is a optional size so there should be no issue fitting if you decide to switch to that size and I agree the factory rake is a bit overdone with the rear mono leaf spring, now if they had used a multi leaf it would be a bit lower in the rear with same capacities but it is what it is:confused:

well, i wouldve lifted to probably where it is now...ish. so only needing to come up some in the front makes it half way there.

yes agreed, I too will be adding the front lift so it appears more level, wish there was away to address the rear but that's not a feasible remedy unless your spending a lot of time in spring shops getting de arched or whatever and that's trial and error at best and not really practical.

Wheel spacers or any type of (more) negative offset would hurt in terms of crash bar/fender liner clearance.
Also iirc 1" spacer needs the studs trimmed.

Welcome, let me know if you have any questions with the warranty route of mods judging that you are getting FP tune or any performance mods in general... I sort of detoured from the warranty route and said screw it as I am having too much fun. I have been up and down every thread almost in relation to most performance mods, please ask if need be. I love talking to others on here about different things whether I am experienced or inexperienced. Can't wait to see you around more often!

I love this forum, it is the first I have been to since I didn't really come from the time of OG forums. However, the UI and UX is very much aligned to promote user engagement so I appreciate that and fully believe it adds to the higher activity here.
