Honestly, for $50. I probably wouldn't open the tailgate often enough for it to matter. Most of the mods are going to be safety (headlights), and trailer brake controller. . . Or comfort (tint).

My ATS has a damped glovebox, but the Ranger doesn't. I don't mean to trivialize the issue but some of those details are likely why vehicles are so expensive now.

nice color!! Is it 4WD?
Just asking as I got my fully loaded XLT 2wd for 33.2K OTD back in February right before the market skyrocketed. It’s crazy how much cars went up.

Options are: 4wd, rear locker, carpet floors, tow package, 101A and STX package. If I remember 4x4 added almost 4k (like 3,850) to the price.

It would've cost about $1,200 more to get an XLT which would've just meant a touchscreen versus the STX's basic 5" non-touch SYNC screen.

I paid more for a used 2017 Lariat. Not proud, just saying.

It was my first new vehicle for that reason. The used market is completely broken right now.

Nice truck! Almost exactly to the dollar what I paid OTD for my 21 XLT FX4, but I had the good luck to have Ford Dealer employee discount pricing.

I had the benefit of X-plan, but not Z sadly. I have to also wonder whether many dealers would take Z plan given current market conditions? The dealer I picked sells Rangers the same day they arrive.

Same out here, gone the day of or the day after they get it in. My B-I-L is the general manager for sales at Fox Ford in Grand Rapids so he sends me a D-Plan PIN when I need a new vehicle.

Dealer order was 8/18 arrived at the dealer on 10/18.

That was fast Dayton, took mine 3 1/2 months. Congratualtions, love the color. But some may say I'm a bit biased. :)

BTW, I ordered the STX package. It has everything I need, and does the job nicely.

Wow! In today's economy, that is as good as same day delivery. Great price, too. Mine took 13 weeks, but I got the factory spray-in bedliner, which is done off site, and I suspect it was one of the early vehicles put on the train and therefore sat in a rail yard for a week or three. The order tracker was stuck on "Shipped" forever. I saw it the day it arrived and it was rather grimy.
