In a few months, I'll be in the market for new tires. The caveat is that I will also be buying new wheels. I am very particular in the style of wheel I want, but alas, none are available in the correct offset that would negate leveling the truck. I had been dead set against having to level the truck and install aftermarket intrusion beams, but it is inevitable. So I will level it and buy the wheels I want. The wheels are 17x9 ET12 and the tires will be 265/65R17 or 265/70R17. Since my truck is RWD and would never see any offroad use, should I go to an A/T tire for the looks for the A/S for function ? How would an A/S tire look on a leveled truck ?
I really enjoy my 28mpg at 75mph and I realize the level and larger tires may affect that, so I am trying to lessen the blow by going with the 265/65, but the 265/70 would look better.
