Do you have an Android phone? Google maps and Android Auto should already be installed on the phone. Just connect the phone using a USB cable to the truck. Use Android Auto and the maps will appear.OK, do I download on my phone, connect phone to truck and roll?
Feeling pretty stupid at this point. Opened google maps, entered an address, plugged phone in, went to navigation, just shows a maps where I am, no directions. Unplug phone, plug back in, it says for charging only, tap USB notifications to transfer files. I can't locate that anywhere on truck system or S26 Android phone. You’d have to purchase the update here:mine is na 2 22. not sure how to change that to na 2 25
Thanks, I'll keep that in my back pocket for now. Seems like those responding think Waze, etc are better option. Although I can't seem to get Google maps to play, see prior post. You’d have to purchase the update here:

Have you downloaded the Waze app on your phone? Once that is done, Android Auto makes it available on the Sync display. You may have to navigate the menu to select it. But once you do, it should always be readily available once you start the truck. Thanks, I'll keep that in my back pocket for now. Seems like those responding think Waze, etc are better option. Yes, this is true. Unless you have the AAWireless adaptor or something similar. Some are pretty cheap. Get it working with a USBC data cable first. You need a data USB cable, not a charging only cable.

That's a fact. A Cal Ranch went in a few years ago and to set the nav too it, you have to put in the Sam's Club that closed 6 years ago. They use Here We Go maps and they have not updated either. What version maps do you have? I know you said you are up to date. The latest maps are NA 2 25 which just came out about a month ago. No guarantee it will have what you want though.
