After admitting this I might just have to ban myself for being a traitor.
Ya know....not to poke a friend or anything...nor to overstate the obvious...but....
DeeZee sells bedmats for the Ranger.
I know this because I am has one.
Prolly the only DeeZee product I'll ever own, but I do have one of these.
Carry on.

You're so right Chris and sometimes my penny pinching gets me in the end. :frown:?

Me thinks the problem exists between the seat and steering wheel. ;)

I've been noticing my Ranger has been acting up lately. It never felt quiet right from day one but seems to be getting worse over the past couple weeks. The transmission seems to buck and surge and never seems to know what gear it wants to be in. Now the newest one, my back has been aching more and more and I almost went out and spent the $80 on those seat jackers. Then while unloading my equipment after work the other day I found the culprit!

When I bought my Ranger I cheeped out and re-used the bed mat from my Tacoma.

Don't wait for Christmas.....order a Ranger mat! I suggest you also check your tailgate assist rod. They are known to get weak and cause severe back issues. (glad to see you back here and active)

Nothing wrong with your transmission, that's normal considering what you did. Like putting an itchy blanket on a horse.

Sometimes being Polish has it's drawbacks. Maybe Santa will bring me a Ranger bed mat for Christmas? ? ?
Do you know why many Polish last names end in ski. It is because they never learned how to spell toboggan....

You're lucky the damn thing would even start! You owe that Ranger a sincere apology. Some serious vehicle abuse right there.

Save your excuses. Don't want to hear it.

Poor little Ranger.

Umm, hate to tell you, but you've misdiagnosed your problem.

That damned damper has given your truck aids.
I think you have the damper and tailpipe mixed up ?
