One of the coolest places on earth to drive a 4x4. We did Monument Valley and Arches on this trip last summer, and unfortunately just drove through Moab. :)

Great pictures! We went through there on our (early) summer trip back in '22 on our way to Durango, CO. It is a really cool area and we're looking forward to go back through there again. I could only get a couple of pictures of my Ranger because it was pretty crowded when we went through there. I'm sure you saw the famous stretch of road from the movie Forest Gump?

Great pictures. I wouldn't have missed the Forest Gump viewpoint! :)

La Salle is a great place too. That whole dang area is beautiful!! I just wish I had a front bumper mounted camera for slick rock. My wife wouldn’t have kept yelling “oh shit” while guiding us through with her head sticking out of the window.. still fun for both of us!!

Great pictures. So cool to see it from ground level. I started my flying career in 1998, doing air tours over Grand Canyon and Monument Valley with Scenic Airlines. I first flew Cessna Turbo 210s and later moved up to their Twin Otters. The Twin Otters were like the Ranger of airplanes. Nineteen passengers, big tundra tires and max speed 165 knots. We used the dirt runways at Temple Bar and Bar Ten airports on the canyon floor to ferry river rafters, and at Monument Valley for ground tours. It handled great “off road.” Now I need to get my truck out there too.
