So, I am guessing that you didn't get them to work.

nopeSo, I am guessing that you didn't get them to work.
I took some pics with the light in place <please excuse the pollen> . Yes I see where one mounting point does not line up but it does not stop the light from going in place or effect the body work from going back in. The light seems pretty solid without it. I don't see any issues with it following the body lines of the truck. Now....if I could get the rest of the functions of the light < drl, turn signal, etc.> to work I would be a happy camper. Does anyone think that making the changes to forscan? for the lariat lights will work ?
Hey Paul I took mine apart, bought 2 used original headlights and took it apart. I made my own wire harness and was able to make them work.
I love the look of these, wish a vendor would come out with more straight forward swaps for NA Ranger.
In Canada, our DRL laws are slightly different (continuously on) so our wiring harness might be different or use different connectors than the the US model. I hope the folks wanting to use these in the US are able to figure it out.I installed the drivers side one even though the DRL and turn signals don't work just to check the look and fit. and with just the one the light looked to be in the correct place on low and high beam. The ones I have do appear to have the adjustment gears where the stock ones do. The seller assured me that all was needed was to just plug in the stock square plug and I'd be off to the races. I filed a claim with paypal 8 days ago and they have not even responded to that. Hopefully I will get my money back and I may try these https://www.ebay.com/itm/293353254936?ul_noapp=true . They are twice as much as these but appear to be wired different from what I can tell from the pics. They sold a set to a guy in Canada who says they work as stated so I now wonder if the Canada XLT is different.
These new ones are suuuuper bright, and the stock ones are terrible. They look great. How is the light output compared to stock ones? I guess the low and high beams are full LED, right? And on that note, how is the stock light output on the NA Rangers? Mine, although it has projectors (no xenon) are terrible. I can barely see .
Ah, yes. The 2019 and the 2020 stock headlights are comparable in brightness, which is to say they are quite dim. These mustang lights are very bright (almost a little too bright honestly)Thank you. I think I get your reply, but I want to make sure: which "these new ones"? The ones that you installed (the mustang ones), or are you referring to stock new ones, like 2020 Rangers compared to 2019 ones?
I assume you're not talking about the LED lights on the Lariat.Ah, yes. The 2019 and the 2020 stock headlights are comparable in brightness, which is to say they are quite dim. These mustang lights are very bright (almost a little too bright honestly)
Thank you! Too bright? Do the other participants flash you or how do you qualify this? If you are able to see more due to the brightness but it does not bother the others, then I would say they are just right .Ah, yes. The 2019 and the 2020 stock headlights are comparable in brightness, which is to say they are quite dim. These mustang lights are very bright (almost a little too bright honestly)
