The Chosen is really well done. I am impressed with the way they have, up to this point, captured the flavor and spirit of The Gospel - Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

I am not sure of the scope of the project. Are they planning to stop at Acts or run through the entire New Testament? 4 Seasons to go!

I have owned The Passion of Christ for years now, but can't bring myself to watch it. I have friends who told me it was a must watch, but they refused to watch it a second time. Simply too painful.

The Chosen is so well done it does a great job of breaking the stereotype of Christian shows with shoestring budgets, groan inducing dialogue, and laughably bad actors.

Matthew and Peter have personified the characters for me.

Retired, work is a four letter word.
"Hear No Evil, See No Evil" (I believe that's the title), with Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder. But only if you like to laugh because your stomach muscles will hurt! Older movie, but hilarious. Also, "The Survivors" with Robin Williams, Walter Matthau, & Jerry Reed. Might be dangerous to watch these two too close together. Very funny! :like:
Close.. See no evil hear no evil, I have it in my collection, and yes it is a good laugh.

It cost 13 million in 1956 to make that movie. To me, worth every penny.

I love a good movie, have so many fav's hard to single one out. I have to use the TinyMediaManager app to catalog and manage them all.

I use KODI (LibreElec). A love hate relationship. But I have found nothing better. Works great with a RP-4 with a Flirc and a nice programmable remote... in addition to a 48TB library!

I go back to silent movies, and TV shows beginning in the late 40's - 50's! Milton Berle, and Jack Benny to name a few. Or Betty White in Life with Elizabeth! A very young Clint Eastwood in Rawhide, and James Garner & Jack Kelly in Maverick (it still holds up very well even today). Don't forget Death Valley Days sponsored by 20 Mule Team Borax.

Ahhh, Good Ole days!

Awesome’ I have a few TV series but mostly movies. I also use KODI on a Nvida Shield TV streamer connected to my network server, the Tiny Media Manager is just a scraper and catalog database that manages and prints a media book list. A Flirc works great with the Shield TV and a Harmony remote.
