I'm curious about getting a big more pep out of Shelly but am not interested in tuning just yet, any suggestions?

I ran 3 back to back tanks of premium fuel and didn't notice anything (may need to run more) I've got a flowmaster flowfx ready to install as soon as I get time to get my welding out, I'll have to check out air intakes.Just running premium fuel all the time will net you some extra HP, rumored to be around 300.
The Ecoboost engines have OAR (Octane Adjust Ratio) and will tweak up the power when it sees premium being ran regularly.
It will take a couple of tanks to see the benefit.
An intake and exhaust will net you a bit as well, moreso the exhaust.
I'll have to start running in sport mode more, I was almost t-boned today by a lady in a 4runner who I guess was taught that red-lights are a suggestion so I had no time to throw it sport mode.Like Dennis said run premium. I run 91 and also use S mode and that'll give you the most hp without tuning or additional mods.
Yeah that's very common around here. When you're first at the lights you really need to check both ways once it turns green. Almost every time someone's running a red light going the other way.I'll have to start running in sport mode more, I was almost t-boned today by a lady in a 4runner who I guess was taught that red-lights are a suggestion so I had no time to throw it sport mode.

I wasn't even 1st in line I was probably 3rd or 4th, I'm not upset with Shelly at all, from probably 25-30 mph she got moving pretty quick just not as quick as id like, im 85% sure if I would of had my trailer ball mount in the 4 runner would have hit itYeah that's very common around here. Just remember when using S mode that if you hit the +/- button you now have to manually shift. The first time I used it (on my '19) I forgot and hit red line.![]()
