Ford North America is likely glad to see Ranger sorted out elsewhere. Electrical is likely a bit different in North America but over architecture is similar if not the same. The buy backs will likely be a mixed bag of those shipped to Engineering and those repaired and auctioned off. Usually media like Carp & Dribble and Rodent & Track will ask Ford Public Relations why NA Rangers don't have the same problems....Hopefully Public Affairs will have answers.

Going to that Ford Authority page look down the bottom at the other articles listed. Seems Ford is having teething issues on multiple issues! Would some baby orajel nighttime formula help out in this regard? ?

I"d say they got a good push into replacing them. lol
But I wouldn't panic seeing as 25,587 were sold and 9 had to be bought back. I'm sure there are others with electrical issues but it doesn't seem like a huge problem....yet. I know some were always mad that the ROTW got the new versions first but this is a good example why that's good. Get most of the kinks worked out there and "hopefully" ours won't have them. Seeing as it's the same transmission, engine and suspension that's already in use here right now I feel comfortable buying one.
