Thanks DrPep, I appreciate that, you're right. I should have put a link to the site so people could find out what I needed input on, and possibly introduce a product they didn't know about and might be interested in.
I really just wanted feedback from anyone who had one and I wanted to know what they thought about it.
And I should be used to the way posts take on life of their own.
I also joined to see what other Ranger owners were doing to their rigs, and what similar issues they were having and the fixes. I've learned a lot here.
I was having a bad day and feeling particularly antagonistic, so I fueled the fire.
I'm better now.
So, to anyone on here that I showed my ass to, I apologize.
Not the reply I expected, very cool.

Making an ass of yourself makes you, officially, part of the club. Welcome.
I love it! We need more Lasso.
I’m reminded of a quote attributed to W.C Fields.
I may be paraphrasing but it goes something like “I wouldn’t want to be a member of a club that would have me as a member.”
Haha. I’m with my peeps. ??

I don't need the winch part, but I could use a few connections. Front LED Bar Relay and I might put a quick connector to my portable ARB compressor and then for the Audio Upgrade eventually.

I hard wired a battery maintainer with a connector, but I'll leave that on the battery.

I need this! I have my winch and auxiliary lights run right to the battery (the lights are fused and on relays) and I don't like how it's set up.
ETA: Well, I wanted this until I clicked the link and saw the price. Not for me, right now! My wife would murder my ass.

I got the blank

the blank was $100 SHIPPED to the US. BECAUSE ITS an Aussie product, I didn’t trust the “all in” design to be what I needed.

While that plate looks nifty, I say hold off til you have a cohesive plan or confirmed list of intended installs.
That's just a real pretty fuse block. You need a plan for how you will handle the relays that go along with this project.
Remember also.... a winch uses 2 gauge wire at least. Even with those midi terminals, the winch cable lugs may be too large.

the relays have a way to hang off the bottom, but I installed a plate at the firewall. Again, I’ll have to snag pictures later.

the winch should be run directly to the battery. A relay can run through the block.

OP- take your time and design your system. If you lack knowledge, start watching YouTube videos about custom fuse panels. I watched a ton of them, as well as videos on how a relay works. Now I’m confident in my wiring skills and that all my runs are safe and protected by fuses. Even redundancies.

I wired my rock lights directly to the battery, which has too many leads coming from it already from factory. I wanted a remotely mounted fuse block to run them from and have more terminals ready for future use.
My last rig, I wired the winch directly to the battery. I might just get the blank and hold off it.

Part of the fun is modifying and fabricating to increase the capability of rig and driver. And learning how to do it along the way. ??
