Ha Ha, they sold them here for a while in the mid 1980's through to the late 90's. They only stopped importing them because the Russians stopped building RHD ones. They had a loyal if small following here, The were built like tanks and offered full time 4wd on hard surfaces something only Range Rovers offered at the time they were released. They also had a coat of paint that was seemingly thicker than the panel steel on a modern car, and thus rust was uncommon.

They were surprisingly good little four wheel drives, but suffered from terrible assembly and component QC - as you might expect. If you were lucky you got a good one. Mostly you got an average one. They had a high parts compatibility with various Fiat models, and the importers would give you a parts number comparison catalogue so your could swap in Fiat parts if needed. The Fiat parts were generally considered to be of higher quality - that should tell you something. There are still a few running around here to this day. If you got a good one they tended to go forever.

Selling a Russian vehicle might be a bit of a hard sell at the moment though.

Lada dealership is scheduled to open in my area. I've always wanted a Proletariat Pickup truck....

Poor timing on part of the dealership:

The Wall Street Journal reported that Lada's auto factories "ground to a halt" this week because sanctions left the Russian facilities without the components and supplies required to build new cars. Groupe Renault holds a 67.6 percent controlling stake in Avtovaz, the company that builds Lada vehicles. The Journal said that more than 20 percent of the parts Avtovaz needs are imports, which have mostly dried up in the last two weeks.

My wife uses her home grown potatoes, loads of real butter, salt, pepper, and bacon bits cut from bacon she cooked, not the bacon bits in a jar crap! Damn I love them, along with warm home made bread! She is a dang fine cook, makes a lot from scratch, unlike the younger generation that only knows how to open a can and use a microwave.

That is what I am missing! Is he getting an F150? Otherwise this all makes no sense.

Amen to that! If it isn't lumpy, it isn't REAL mashed potatoes!
Now I really want mashed potatoes and turkey...

Ohh black pepper turkey gravy...

Opted for the Antimatter Blue metallic. Not a fan of the Azure, and disappointed they don’t offer the Sabre.

I do believe the fries and gravy are Canadian, but as an Italian living in Phoenix I just add some mozzarella and all is fine.
But how is the Tremor "bigger"?
You've really lost me there...

I know nothing of Canadian food. Is it good, or just edible? Do Canadians even bother to mash potatoes?
Seems rude... ?

Now I'm drooling...

Of course, I did just make some red velvet cakes from scratch...

They taste better than they look... Lol

Bought mine in 2019 brand new off the showroom. It’s been a great truck for my needs, I had to buy because my AC in my old Altima shit the bed and it was June in Phoenix. Bought the Ranger same day. I owe something like 14k on with with my 1.9% interest rate. The going trade in value right now is close to 26k because my miles are so low. I work from home and have a company vehicle, truck still has less than 15k miles on it.
Going today to build out and maybe work a deal on a ‘23 Tremor.

Sure wish I could work from home. That or have a company vehicle parked at home.

My dealership offered to buy my 2019 at 26K. Umm....no. Going to keep it. I think it is worth a lot more than that since it has 5,000 miles on it. It's still in showroom condition.
