Before I started, I wanted to roll my truck back just a bit to allow more work room in front. But, when I got in to place trans in neutral… I started the freaking truck. 🤬Brain just went in autopilot I guess. Anyway realized my error and shut it down. Literally 1-2 seconds later. So, now I’m pumping the fluid out, stopping, waiting, turning on pump again, etc, and I have just barely over 2 qts in the catch bucket. Did that quick start suck fluid up to where I can’t get it.
Truck has been sitting about 18 hours.
trans has not been low. 56K miles, no issues, and I was an early buyer of the Fitzstick! :like:

ideas? Advice? Based on what others have said, I believe the suction hose is long enough.

Update! Hose in too far! Pumping like hell now!!!

Sorry. I’ve never had to worry about going too deep before.

Project ended up going awesomely. And the truck now shifts VERY smoothly.

@Fitzmotor , used my funnel for the first time. Was afraid the new fluid might blow back as the pump outlet hose is larger and would not fit down the Fitzstick tube. Funnel worked beautifully! Awesome addition to go with the Fitzstick. :like:
