just for your consideration, I swore I saw that the gasket is re-usable. Just in case you’d like to save some coin.
It should be. Although if you're getting up there in mileage I would consider replacing it. I reused mine at...um 30K? I'd have to look at my records, but I have no leaks. If I'd done it at 80k I would probably just replace it.

Did you upgrade to the aluminum pan or reuse the plastic one? I'll probably replace my filter at @ 45k-50k miles.

PPE Standard depth aluminum, replaced the filter at that time because, why not, I was already there.

I replaced my filter for the first time around 85k miles. I’m certain the gasket could have been reused. I installed a new one to be safe. If I'm that far into a project there’s no way I’m going to risk an issue when I’m done over something like a gasket I’ve already removed lol.

Right? You look at it and it looks brand new, but you know damn well if you put it back on you're going to be doing the job twice....or maybe not.

Do you feel lucky?

Do you?

Exactly! I’ve lived Murphys law before in my life lol. Sometimes you have to make your own luck.
