First of all, everything I end up stating below is all of your collective faults. Without this forum, the investments / improvements to my Ranger probably wouldn't have happened .... or at least to this extent. Secondly, nearly everything I've done to my Ranger came from ideas generated from all of you, so thank you kindly. This is, hands down, the best vehicle I've owned in all regards. Anyway....sort of wanted to summarize / show the various things done. Ultimately, (as my kids would say) I'm kind of dull and like an understated, clean look to my vehicles .... nothing too flashy. My clothes are very similar to my truck: lots of gray and black ?

I'd like to say all of this will complete this journey, but we all know that's probably not true. Any questions/comments, just ask!!

**Edit, I'd also like to add that I think we're all quite fortunate to have a member on this forum in Mr. Phil Schilke. Working for an OEM (Kawasaki) like I do, I'm completely and utterly fascinated with the development process of vehicles. Like many others have said, Phil please write a book!!**

In no particular order:

Weathertech tray-style floor liners and mud flaps
Line-X spray-in bed liner
Passenger side SwingCase (Amazon)
Rough Country 2.5" level kit
Nitto Ridge Grappler 265/70R/17 115T rubber
Matte black EcoBoost badge (Amazon)
Matte black rear fender Ranger badge / Raptor script (Ebay)
Matte black/domed Ranger vinyl inserts, hood and tailgate (TVD Vinyls and Tufskinz)
Grille/tailgate Ford logo overlay decals - carbon fiber background with dark gray lettering (Etsy)
Black Rhino 3" matte black exhaust tip (also painted exhaust pipe matte black)
Truxedo B-Light battery powered bed lighting (Amazon)
Tinted front window to match factory rear

Still to do:
Weathertech in-channel wind deflectors
Lund AVS Aeroskin II textured hood protector
Stubby antenna

Only one thing wrong with your Ranger....too many doors.......nah, j/k, she's sweet!
You know, I REALLY like the look of the Supercab, but I REALLY like having a full back seat and 4 doors. I hope they end up offering a 6+ foot bed on the next Ranger with a crew cab. That was one of the things I really liked about the Tacoma. They offered a 6' bed with a crew cab. It obviously wasn't enough to get me to overlook the crappy engine/trans combo though. :) I've done OK with my bed extender - not a perfect solution, but it works for me.

This is an incredibly gorgeous Ranger...just black on black on magnetic. Like a stealth fighter. Thanks for the ideas; your kids, like all kids, have yet to learn ‘cool’. Teach them. ?

Don’t hold your breath. It has to do with the chassis, which is fixed. Large, two-door crew, 5’ bed. Cramped extended cab, 6’ bed. The chassis also determines the towing capacity. I looked at Tacos, they were anemic.

Of course, never say never ?

I can hope. I know it is easier to just have one chassis, but the option would be really nice I think.

2019 Ranger XLT FX4
I just picked up this 2019 Magnetic XLT FX4 2 weeks ago. So far I’ve installed a Rough Country 2.5” leveling kit, 1” wheel spacers and RockBlokz XL mudflaps. I’ll eventually swap out the wheels and tires or at least go to a 275/65/18 on the stock rims.
Pretty happy with the truck so far, I’m almost regretting not going with the Lariat but they had this one for 9k off sticker price so it was tough to pass on.
I’m hoping there becomes some aftermarket options for the headlights, pretty underwhelmed with those.
I’m coming from a full-size Crewcab Ram so I’m appreciating the smaller size of the Ranger.

Looks great @Sped68! Magnetic with the black appearance package is one of the best combos.

Thanks. They had an identically equipped Ranger in black with the black appearance package but this combo looks so good together I had to go with it.

Anything black goes great with Magnetic. I just got my ReTrax cover installed and other trucks are pulling up to take a look.
