CJ74, I'm trying to find the largest diameter tires that will fit on my 2021 Ranger Lariat FX4 without rubbing on the front crash bars or the front knuckle. I was leaning toward the same size you have (275/65 R18) only a different brand. The ones I have in mind have a diameter of 32.09 inches. Are the Big O tires you're running have that same measurement and do you have any rubbing issues going on? I put a 3 inch leveling spacer on the front strut of mine already. I like the stance and look of yours.
Mine are the same size and I've had no problems at all.

I have 33 inch tire Cooper with no mods. 265/70/18 on stock 18 inch wheels. The truck has the Fox 2.0 suspension . Very happy with it.

Advnirvana, your truck looks great. I looked on the Discount Tire website to check your tire size. It said your tires have a diameter of 32.64 inches. I think your tires have the largest diameter I've seen mounted on a Ranger without any modifications to the front end. I have a 2.5 inch leveling kit on mine to raise it but that's all I've done. When you turn lock to lock, how close do the tires come to the crash bars? If you have no clearance issues with yours then I'm going with the same size. Thanks.

You are right on the tire size...it is a 32.6 approximately on the stock 18.
I have had no rubbing issues and I still have about 1/4 inch clearance hard lock to lock.
So far it is working for me. I like the setup . I do not do a lot of off-roading but it does get out on some rough logging roads.
I am curious how the setup will work for a Canadian winter and pulling a snowmobile trailer.
I did do my research on here on the tire size before purchasing the Coopers and with the Fox2.0 I was pretty confident it would work.

Firestone destination AT on mine although I kick myself for not trying the XT version.

my f350 has coopers on it and I cannot stand the ride or the road noise

How much is your odometer off now with the larger sized tires?

As long as corrections were made with a tuner or Forscan he shouldn't be off at all

I went to Discount Tire today and had four 265/70 R18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers installed based on what you're running. The tires on the front just do clear the crash bars with a quarter inch or so to spare. You were dead on. Thanks Andy. They look so much better than the stock crap we took off.

I’ve had good luck with the General Grabbers I installed about 30k miles ago. Might go with them again, if I don’t go with their mud tires.

I upgraded to 265/65/18 Wildpeaks and I love them. I would guess that with a level kit the 265/70/18 would fit just fine.

I think you're right about the leveling kit. With the front end (and the crash bars) raised about 3", it would take a pretty good jolt to the front wheel while I'm turning, to compress the strut far enough for the tire to touch or rub on them. There's no issue with the wheels pointed straight because there's about 3" of clearance from the front and rear of the tires. It's only when I turn that the outside and inside edges of the tires come close, about a 1/4". I'm not saying they won't ever touch, but they haven't yet. I wanted to go with the largest diameter tire that would fit with no rubbing issues. I had initially decided to go with the 265/65 R18 too. The guy at Discount Tire told me the 265/70 R18's would fit and if they didn't, he'd take them back. I had nothing to lose. So far, he's right.
