You are right on the tire size...it is a 32.6 approximately on the stock 18. I have had no rubbing issues and I still have about 1/4 inch clearance hard lock to lock. So far it is working for me. I like the setup . I do not do a lot of off-roading but it does get out on some rough logging roads...

I have 33 inch tire Cooper with no mods. 265/70/18 on stock 18 inch wheels. The truck has the Fox 2.0 suspension . Very happy with it.

The top stays on all the time. It is integral to the tent. When not camping I will just take it off the truck and store the whole setup on a shelf in my garage.

@FXranger4 No difference with SmartCap. I had the truck bed loaded with camping gear, SmartCap with rooftop tent …..and the suspension was perfect. Did about 3000km around Gaspe, Quebec.

How’s the AVS bug deflector working? Was it a no drill install?

That is a hood option. I ended up going with an Lariat FX4 and upgraded to the Fox tuned suspension. This allowed me to use the stock 18 inch wheels and went with a 33 inch tire (265/70/18) no mods or cutting.

I ended up doing the same . Went with a FX4 Lariat and Fox.

Thanks @Jim C As you know (being you are from Michigan) its nice to have a warm garage in the winter. I renovated this one from an old pole barn. 50X50, including office/den.

Just installed our SmartCap EVOa yesterday. Assembled and installed by ourselves. This is just an initial impression and not any criticism of the vendor. We intend to register our purchase and contact their support team (its the weekend and they are Mon-Fri). We look forward to talking to them...
