Unfortunately I am selling my 2021 Lariat Crew Cab.
That said, the RSI SmartCap is being sold separately.
I purchased this in June of 2021.
Been very very happy with it and will buy another one again.
Worked very well in the Canadian winter. The stainless steel solid construction is amazing...
You are right on the tire size...it is a 32.6 approximately on the stock 18.
I have had no rubbing issues and I still have about 1/4 inch clearance hard lock to lock.
So far it is working for me. I like the setup . I do not do a lot of off-roading but it does get out on some rough logging roads...
The top stays on all the time. It is integral to the tent. When not camping I will just take it off the truck and store the whole setup on a shelf in my garage.
@FXranger4
No difference with SmartCap. I had the truck bed loaded with camping gear, SmartCap with rooftop tent …..and the suspension was perfect. Did about 3000km around Gaspe, Quebec.
Getting ready for a quick trip around Gaspe, Quebec.

For sale: I have an complete FX4 suspension (front and rear including springs) from my 2021 Lariat FX4. Less than 150km on it . I basically put the Fox 2.0 tuned suspension on the day after I took delivery.
Located near Ottawa .
Make an offer.
I drove the Tremor and then an Lariat FX4 back to back when I was shopping...the Tremor was a better ride (sharper/less roll).
But then I bought a Lariat FX4 and upgraded the suspension to the Fox 2.0 tuned suspension myself and upgraded to a bigger tire. I think it is as good/better ride than...
The add on continue….
- this is my initial setup with a new iKamper on the SmartCap EVO.
- after thinking it through I am going to get rid of the Thule racks and make my own T-slot cross pieces (from www.tnutz.com) . This will bring the iKamper down to only and 1 1/2 inches off the roof. A lot...
That is a hood option.
I ended up going with an Lariat FX4 and upgraded to the Fox tuned suspension. This allowed me to use the stock 18 inch wheels and went with a 33 inch tire (265/70/18) no mods or cutting.
Thanks @Jim C
As you know (being you are from Michigan) its nice to have a warm garage in the winter.
I renovated this one from an old pole barn. 50X50, including office/den.
Just installed our SmartCap EVOa yesterday.
Assembled and installed by ourselves.
This is just an initial impression and not any criticism of the vendor.
We intend to register our purchase and contact their support team (its the weekend and they are Mon-Fri). We look forward to talking to them...
