Love them. Absolutely beautiful. Discount tire made it flawless with the ability to purchase same day and install same day.

Had to do something nice for the truck after the new tires today. Tried a new product, Shine Armor ceramic graphene. I actually really like it, not sure if on top of 303 graphene it pops more or if it’s just the shine armor. A really strong mirror reflection this time around. Refining the techniques :ninja:

Getting some new kicks on later today. I committed the sin, will update. 265/65/18, largest size you can go probably without any suspension or crash bar mods. T speed rating so I don't blow my tire, just for safety. Hydroplaned twice already with the hankooks, granted I drive a little... heavy so to speak but still, I need all the help I can get.

I’m running 265/70r18 thanks to whoever put them on my truck..?

I have had to learn when I’m going 75, I’m really going 80. ?

And this is with no crash bar modification and no lift? I was worried about going a little wider just because I had a some rubbing issue at full right turn lock coming off a driveway at a decline with the stock 265/60/18. Judging from @GTGallop advice on how close it was to the spindle on his similar dimensions, I went with 265/65/18 as recommended. Thank you for your post though Cody, I have been trying to figure out this 18 wheel equation for a while so I can help other 18 users on the forum.

Just remember the 2nd number is height not width. Mine are the same width as stock but 2 inches taller (fills the wheel well and gives it that beefy look).

I have not noticed or heard any scrubbing, verified under the frame there was no rub Marks (probably because they’re highway tread).

The NEGATIVE is the Speedo issue; dealers can not adjust it other than factory…so I will have to figure an aftermarket option out.

Oops so sorry. Originally thought you went wider is which I wanted thus the inquiries. Good to know it can go taller. Appreciate the response and insight :)

Anytime!

I do believe you will have a slight Speedo error as-well going taller than stock. Not as dramatic as mine but something to note.

Roughly ~2-3mph depending on speed if my maths are correct. Just something to note if you have speed traps in your area.

I verified mine w/Waze app. On my truck running 70mph on cruise control, Waze tells me I’m going 74mph. I trust it because I tested it on my wife’s car on the same road and it was dead-on 70.

Very good thing to keep in mind. I really appreciate this tip. I have a heavy foot and this will save me many $$$ without a doubt. Thank you Cody.

Forscan, my friend. You can adjust the tire diameter and correct the speedometer. I got this cable and it works great. You do need a windows laptop (or desktop, if you want to move it to the garage/work area).

That is a term I hear used widely on here.

I have no idea what Forscan is, LOL.

Or how to buy it, use it, etc.

Is there like a tutorial anywhere from someone who has actually used it?

I was initially looking at this.

Well, I finally got my truck back today after 8 months and 3 days. What a csuckr to get parts for.

I bought a dry air filter, airaid.
Not sure if this will make you feel better, but according to my mechanic, parts are hard to get for many cars and trucks right now. He could not even locate an engine air filter for me, but it's not just the Rangers.

Forscan.org it allows us to get into factory settings and change them to our needs. There is a Forscan thread on here just for this! https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/forscan-crowdsourced-wiki.2008/
