How did you install the lights?

Automotive tape ( double sided ), connected the three lights together , spliced into connector (msfitoy on here had a picture of the connector that he spliced into , the wire is green/ orange stripe ) the lights are real small and lightweight but with good output, I have used these lights before with no issues with the leds burning out

nope. the mounting is different. looks like it mounts to the am raptor grill where you screw in the upper grill mounts, not the stock grill which is listed.

Quick question, Scott....did you primer the F O R D letters before painting? I’m going to get my grill ready (painted letters and lights installed, now, so it’s ready when the truck comes.

No I didn’t prime first , I lightly sanded the letters and outside grill. The paint I used was primer and paint in one

Thanks.....since I bought a can of automotive Hot Pepper Red, I think I better prime.

I installed mine today, painted the letters with J7 magnetic & left the rest black.

received this today. it does fit and is just like what we have seen for the lariat grill but with different mounting holes. wonder why the don't have them on their website yet?.
