ISSUE WITH ACTIVE CRUISE CONTROL; LANE ASSIST ??

My 2020 Ranger 4X4 Lariat w/ 78K miles, the Lane Assist in Active Cruise Control mode stopped functioning.
I'm bringing it in to Sonora Ford today for an In Warranty diagnosis - bought the 5 year B to B Warranty - but wondering if anyone has
had this problem, and if it's a chronic one or whatever..? Truck has been problem free this entire time until this popped up.

Just out of curiosity...you didn't happen to hit the Lane Assist button on the end of the stalk by mistake ???

I've done that myself and never realized it until I was trying to eat a bowl of cereal while driving and the shaver fell out of my hand and I drifted over 2 lanes while retriving it and wondered why.
Turned it back on and finished my cereal and shave.

Of course, after your reminder and after the fact, I remembered that that button was there. Jeez! For a bit, I thought perhaps a ding I heard from a rock on the windshield might have been the cause, but looking at the radar lens area, nothing ...

I drive on dirt roads at speed enough that I have to turn it off or it will start reporting dirty windshield because it can't find the lines for miles. Nothing on the glass, so it's just lazy "error" handling code. But turning it off prevents the error to start with.

I've done the same thing. Wondered why it wasn't working then remembered to check the button.
