I got everything working with exception of brake light. The running lights, reverse, hazards and both turn signals work without faults. I wired the right and left turn signals into pin 6 on both sides, the running light to pin 5 on the left and ground to pin 10. I also wired reverse to pin 5 on right. Where am I missing the brakes? Any help would be awesome. Thanks!
You need to have a 3>2 wire converter wired between the truck and the light bar. The truck has separate lights for turn and brakes. Where the light bar requires a combined left turn/brake and a combined right turn/brake signal.

I wired the turn signals separate from the stop lights. The running lights don’t work, only the brakes. I’m sure there is a way to do it, but I’m happy with the results.
You probably have the brakes wired into the running light circuit on the light bar. Will work like that just be dimmer.

This is my setup on my 2020 Ford Ranger Lariat. Of course plugging in my tailgate LED bar gave me errors when plugging into the 4 way trailer system. Tried the 3ft trailer in the setup, but still got error msg after error msg every time I stepped on the brake. I ordered the Tekonsha Circuit Protected Taillight Converter and NO MORE ERRORS!!! WOOHOO!

HOWEVER, I tied in the reverse light from the light bar directly to the reverse wire on my Left Side wiring, but my lights don't work. I believe because I don't have a ground now except through the Tekonsha on the 4-way connector. All the other lights work fine. Thoughts?!

Stevie where did you find this info. The Putco website does no recognize the part numbers shown. I am dying for one for my Ranger.

Thanks.

Thanks Figarou. If you look at the Putco catalog on their website the light bar shows but if you search for the part number shown it does not come up. I will call them tomorrow to get the lowdown. I will post to this thread what I find out. Last time I talked to Putco they were expecting to have one in the fall.

It would be nice to know if all you need is the light bar and the harness that comes with it OR do we need to buy the 7-pin harness too...???

Hmmmmmm..... are you reffering to this part #? 9200948-07 or 9200948-08

It says it's the 48inch light bar AND a harness as a kit in that catalog.

Here they are sold separately.

The 48 inch light bar is here.
https://www.putco.com/48-blade-led-light-bar-with-power-wire-modification-1

The harness is here.
https://www.putco.com/blade-quick-connect-harness-529004

Edit....the harness looks different in the kit. Probably not available just yet. Can't find anything doing a search.

That says for F150 and Super Duty, does not mention Ranger.

Page 181 of the a catalog. It must have hit pretty recently, and should be out in retail soon. I’ve been in contact with Putco since March of 2019 about a compatible lightbar, and of course the pandemic delayed it.
