How does the weight of the ARB bumper compare to the OEM bumper?
FYI, I stood on stock bumper and had wife hold tape measure. I’m 195 and top middle of front fender sagged less than 1/8” toward top of tire. With winch and this bumper I don’t see additional leveling needed, but we’ll see when installed.

New pic with lights installed. Loving this bumper. I bought a Warn winch and will install it soon.

Hi Mapco, what lights did you get? No longer shown on arb website. Thank you!

You just have to have a shop that has FDRS software change the bumper setting in the BCM from the factory bumper to the Performance model

It's a 30 second change, unfortunately we can't do it with Forscan, I looked

As for installing yourself, lol it's a bear of a job. I'm doing mine now on vacation and about to roll into my third day ? I'm only pulling about 6 to 7 hours of work per day on it, and I'm losing a ton of time adapting it for my parking sensors and figuring out the adaptive cruise radar

End of day two I've got it hung on the truck, have to torque everything tomorrow and install some little trim plates and finish installing the ACC

You'll need a 21mm socket and a 17mm wrench to get it done, those were two items I didn't have on the shelf

How accurate are the parking sensors? Do they have to be "calibrated" or anything for their new location?

They seem as accurate as ever, I tried testing it first with a garbage can and then with a plastic saw horse oriented with the hole facing the sensors it picked up both

Good enough for me

Since this thread popped back up I thought I'd give my 2¢

Overall nice bumper (Quagmire chin needs lights/hoops not to look weird tho), instructions were pretty lackluster, the one part I didn't get at first was that you need to pop the 3 bolts holding the original bumper off.

Seems sturdy without being overly heavy. Lots of holes inside and out for mounting things. Gotta tweak one of the sensors and the ACC bracket still, but not so bad.

Really dumb they didn't follow thru and drill holes for sensors and ACC. Or fit for ARB skids, although that's a quick fix. Also not great that their recovery tow piece that fits in those holes is $200. Rattlecan blue tow hooks will do for now.

Special thanks to whoever posted about the deal using Ford points last year, I snagged this for $75! ?

Considering this started as a $1500 bumper there is NO better deal than this with Ford points and a sale and getting out the door for under $250

You beat me by a country mile at $75

Now you need a winch and lights ?

Hi,
I'm also looking to replace my stock bumper by the Ford Performance ARB one and I see that you have LED Fog lights and not the stock ones. How did you fix them ? Is it pretty streight forward ?
Because I already have the Ford Performance Rigid fog lights and would want to reuse them.
Thanks
