I’m getting ready to do mine next week. I think Icon has instructions on their website. Post back any learnings so I can try and avoid any missteps.

Tip 1: Grease the poly fittings in excess. Inside and out before assembly. Grease again at nipple after install.
Tip 2: Make sure nipple is tight. I do not like that they do not come preinstalled and they are easy to strip because they are so small. Take your time.
Tip 3: UCA long bolt torque spec is 122 ft. lbs. with suspension under load.

I usually just muscle torque mine as getting my torque wrench in there with suspension under load is a pain. I tend to lube the bushings and the delta joint at every oil change. The bushings sometimes more often if they are squeaking too much and driving me crazy.

I did the left side first and was a bit of a bitch with the ground wires in the way of the bracket. I also used a ratchet strap to hold the spindle in place..But got threw that part and got the bracket in then the A arm in was the next part as I could not get the A arm over the bracket so I pulled it back out and pinched it a bit in a vice so it was tight to the frame. Then it almost went right in. The next issue was I could not get the bolt back far enough to get it into the bushing so I ended up cocking the front of the A frame up and the back of it down so I could at least get the bolt into the rear bushing and get it back where I could get the bolt into the frame..
Over all not to bad but the right side was easer but still had to cock the A frame to get the bolt started..
Only part that concerns me is that the taper on the joint is not the same as the original. I will be contacting Icon about it..
Now I need an alignment..

I needed to use a tap for the 90 degree grease fitting as they had some material in and broke one trying to install. I know one other person needed to as well. It was 1/4-28 if needed.

So I stoped at my local repair shop and I have given them most of my business over the years and wanted an appointment for an alignment on my ranger that I did the 2” level on the front and also installed the Icon upper A frames.. Guy in the office told me that they do not do any work on modified suspension.
This is the same place that told me a week ago that they will not mount any tires that they do not sell..
I told him that he should look up who I am and how much money I spent here in the last 10 years and told him you will never see one more dime out of me..
Think I was to harsh?? LOL

I got an alignment today and they could not get the caster inspec but camber is good. Now Icon says that the cantrol arm will fix the caster issue when lifting front end. Now I only did a 2” level kit in the front.. anyone else have this issue. Drives straight and steering wheel is straight and feels good.. Give me your thoughts.

Curious to know the outcome of this? Fox 2.0 and Icon UCA, correct?

I need to get it to someone else as the front tires are wearing. And now looking at it I would have to say that the camber is in the green on the alignment but I would say at the extreme..

I just installed a level kit using the stock shocks as I only have less that 10k on it and installed the icon upper control arms. Then installed the icon rear springs. The rear lift figures are way off also.
I found a place to do another alignment I just need to make time and an appointment.
