So uhhh... Can I buy one of those?Got some prototype racks made and installed in my truck, pretty happy with them so far! I made these a bolt on install, no drilling. There is a mounting pattern in the center to mount a rotopax, but I've yet to test that part out yet (need to get one). Hopefully I can get one in quick to test it and make sure its strong enough for off-road duty.![]()

I think most people are still waiting for an official solution. Seems like kcederwall08 fabbed up his own prototype version, but no update on if he/she is willing to share plans or produce a limited run.So uhhh... Can I buy one of those?
Anyone figure out what our options are for this sort of mounting system in the truck bed?
The Ranger panels can be used as a 4pc kit, of course, but the rear panels can also be used on their own, without the front panels. This allows users to setup their truck as needed and add to their system if their gear mounting needs change. The front panels cannot be used on their own, as they attach to the rear panels for support.
I have the OEM swing-out toolbox on the driver's side, and I'm not sure you can install these full bed racks at the same time. I think the mounting bracket for the toolbox interferes with the mounting of the bed racks.Whe did you do the passenger side?? As apposed to the drivers.
Thanks! yeah, I don't really need a full length panel, so enough to mount the Rotopax along with some other gear is what I personally wanted.Very cool. I like how your panel is sort of "half-size". Might be the perfect fit for someone who doesn't want a full bed length panel.
Do you have an estimate of how much this cost you personally, for others that might be interested depending on final cost? I assuming shipping will play into it as well.
I like it! Get my shovel and dune flag out of the way. Took your survey so the sooner you get to me the more impulsive my purchase. Thanks! yeah, I don't really need a full length panel, so enough to mount the Rotopax along with some other gear is what I personally wanted.
Just as a reference, this prototype (at qty. 1) through the shop I'm using was ~300$, plus paint and hardware. Which is honestly really cheap for one off prototypes like this. But If I were to do a group buy the price per part would come way down.
I'd be trying to aim to get the sale price down to something in the ball park of 250 + shipping if possible, so it could be competitive. This will really depend on how much finishing would cost, since I would still be getting the parts in raw material if I go with the same shop I'm using now. I'm working on getting some quotes from other shops to see how feasible it is to deliver at that price point.
If enough people wanted it in raw material though, that would be very easy to set up.
