Look's like the Amarok will only be offered in the Scab.
More importantly, will it come with the damper standard?SPY Shot's

I'll make sure it does! ?More importantly, will it come with the damper standard?
You'll get use to it.Gotta tell you...I'm jut not a fan of that paint job.
Makes my head hurt.
Same here, have had a few VW’s over the years. Sold my mk7 TDI with a 6 speed manual to get into the Ranger. Have bad knees & broke my ankle a few years ago which made driving stick painful.Long-time VW fan here. The only attraction to the Amarok is the availability of VW’s diesel engines in a pickup. I’d say there is zero chance of VW ever bringing another diesel to the North American market, so the Amarok is a pointless non-starter.
There's something about the tires on that truck that look like the mud and dirt would just slide out from the tread that's on there instead of the tread grabbing because of the angles of that tread. It just seems like it would dig itself deeper into the mud or dirt. Am What say ye?SPY Shot's

Goodyear Wrangler Territory HT, with a new tread design that doesn't show on their website. Maybe less highway-specific than their existing design, but not much. There's something about the tires on that truck that look like the mud and dirt would just slide out from the tread that's on there instead of the tread grabbing because of the angles of that tread. The ranger has a manual overseas as well. It's a different market. The article does tease a tempting tidbit...
Expect a 6- or 7-speed manual to be standard and a 10-speed automatic to be available.
Yeah, I get those mixed up. I am a Scab lover. I meant ScrewThe article says it will only be offered in Crew, no Scab. Photos are of crew too.
